Coon perry has struck again continuing making movies for who? Us? African Americans? The first couple times Tyler it was amusing but its now turning into exploitation. What is your goal and you can only choose one…..to exploit us….make money off of us…..of embarrass us…..Taking spikes lee side on the debate of are Tyler perry movies degrading blacks. The moment you put a ” icon” who for years has exposed and proven these negative stereotypes…. is as low as any person can get. Really? you put maury? out of all people in a movie, Why .
Tyler Perry is making profits of us (by us i mean minorities but geared to blacks). As he sit back and “counts his blessings” he is making it hard for people of color to break out from these social stigmas. He has no interest in uplifting blacks. He also pushes the never ending battle of skin color. The light skin males as the superheroes in a sense and the dark skin males as evil. Madea was humorous in the beginning, (we all have to admit). But as time when on the depiction of a grandmother “we all know” has it gotten out of hand.
His movies are draining us for the values and or morals we are trying to hold on to and build. Yesterday while watching tv i seen the movie with a title called “water for elephants” and thought to myself every white based movies always has an interesting movie title. but what do we have ?
